Accounts Payable Specialist: Salary: To be determined Location: Orange County

Description of duties: Process invoices and check requests to maintain accounts payable for the agency. This position requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with vendors and all levels of management. Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, detail oriented and ability to multi-task.

Requirements: Relevant AA/S degree plus 2 years experience. Must have good working knowledge of Excel or similar spreadsheet software. Additional in the field experience may be substituted for the degree.


Director of Residential Services: Salary: To be determined Location: Orange County

Description of duties: Manage the agency’s residential programs and services. Establish departmental priorities, policies and procedures. Direct residential program managers and staff to accomplish objectives in accordance with the mission and strategic plan. Ensure the safety of the staff and the people we serve. Act as liaison with external agencies, families of consumers, and the community at large.

Requirements: A master’s degree in a related field plus extensive and progressively more responsible experience managing programs serving people with developmental and psychiatric disabilities is required. Candidates must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and related software. Experience working in DD/MH residential programs licensed by New York State is preferred.


Medicaid Services Supervisor: Salary: $13.67 - $17.00 / hourly Location: Orange County

Description of duties: Work with individuals, family members and advocates to develop, implement and maintain the individual’s life plan to attain the highest possible quality of life and independence. The MSC promotes the concepts of choice, individualized services and supports, and consumer satisfaction. Senior level Coordinators with additional experience and education may also help train and guide less experienced MSC staff.

Requirements: Relevant AA/S degree plus 1 year experience with developmentally disabled individuals, or 1 year of service coordinator experience with any disable population. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as per OMRDD, OMH and agency guidelines. BA degree strongly preferred. Travel throughout Orange County is required.


In Home Residential Habilitation Workers and In-Home Respite Workers: Salary: $10.50 – $11.50/hr. Positions are P/T 6-15 hrs.

Description of duties: Provide direct support and serve as role model and advocate for the people served.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Must pass a criminal background check as per OMRDD, OMH and agency guidelines.


Residence Manager: Salary: $33,000 full-time base pay, $36,000 with bachelor’s degree Location: Mountain Road (Greenville)

Description of duties: Responsible for managing all aspects of a group home serving MR/DD adults including supervision of all staff assigned to the house. Assist residents with activities of daily living. Must have strong organizational skills, and understand how to use a person-centered approach to maintaining a high quality of life for the people we serve.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field plus 3 years of experience working with developmentally disabled adults. Some management or supervisory experience required. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree. Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as per OMRDD, OMH and agency guidelines.


Assistant Residence Manager: Salary: To be determined Location: Hudson Region: Cipollone (Pine Bush), Stony Bar (Waywayanda); Lower Region: Bayard Lane (Montebello)

Description of duties: Under the direction of the Residence Manager, The Assistant is responsible for oversight of a group home, including supervision of staff and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for individuals served. The Assistant Residence Manager Provides direct support and advocacy for the people we serve.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in related field plus two years of experience working with MR/DD adults. Additional years of related experience may be considered in place of the degree. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as per OMRDD, OMH and agency guidelines.


Community Advocates 1, 2 & 3: Hourly Rates: CAI- $10.40 CA2- $10.80 CA3-$12.05

Description of duties: Promote independent living skills in a group home setting, serving developmentally disabled adults. Provide daily support for activities in the home. Drive agency vehicles and accompany individuals to a variety of locations in the community. This position requires physical lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping as needed to care for physically disabled adults.

In addition to the duties listed above, Community Advocates 2 & 3 provide training and oversight for Advocate 1 staff as assigned.

Requirements: High School or GED. Community Advocate 2 & 3 positions require some college education and experience working with disabled adults. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as per OMRDD, OMH and agency guidelines.
