Associate Director of Finance

Description of duties: Responsible for the administration and supervision of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and financial reporting. Must have excellent verbal and written skills, leadership abilities and demonstrate proficiency in computer- based accounting systems.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 3 years experience, Master's degree is preferred.

Senior Staff Accountant

Description of duties: The position will provide leadership over departments assigned and will organize and prioritize the work flow process in order to meet deadlines. The position may oversee functions in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, General Ledger, Budgets, or CFRs. Candidates must have the ability to communicate and share information regularly with other departments within the agency.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field. Two years experience in finance, accounting, or payroll applications. Must be fluent in the use of PC accounting and spreadsheet software. Supervisory experience preferred.

Assistant Residence Manager

Salary: $13.80
Location: Orange County: Lexington (New Windsor), Little Britain (Rock Tavern)

Description of duties: Under the direction of the Residence Manager, The Assistant is responsible for oversight of a group home, including supervision of staff and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for individuals served. The Assistant Residence Manager Provides direct support and advocacy for the people we serve.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in related field plus two years of experience working with MR/DD adults. Additional years of related experience may be considered in place of the degree. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as per OPWDD, OMH and agency guidelines.

At Home Residential Habilitation Workers and At-Home Respite Workers

Salary: $10.75 - $15.50/hr. Positions are P/T 6-15 hrs.
Location: Orange County

Description of duties: Provide direct support and serve as role model and advocate for the people served.

Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience. Must pass a criminal background check.per OPWDD and agency guidelines. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Professionals 2 & 3

Hourly Rates:DSP - $10.65; DSP2 - $11.05; DSP3 - $12.30

Description of duties: Promote independent living skills in a group home setting, serving developmentally disabled adults. Provide daily support for activities in the home. Drive agency vehicles and accompany individuals to a variety of locations in the community. This position requires physical lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping as needed to care for physically disabled adults. In addition to the duties listed above, Direct Support Professionals 2 & 3 provide training and oversight for Direct Support Professional staff as assigned.

Requirements: High School or GED. Direct Support Professionals 2 & 3 positions require education and experience working with disabled adults. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check as per OPWDD, OMH and agency guidelines.
