"How to be a Philanthropist" was a free educational seminar hosted by the CRVI Foundation on November 5, 2018. Featured speaker Richard Shapiro, J.D., CELA of Blustein, Shapiro, Rich & Barone, LLP, shared strategies for reducing uncertainty in your long-term plans.
Effective and creative ways to ensure the well-being of you and your family, while also considering CRVI and/or charities of your choice in your plans were discussed by Mr. Shapiro.
During the presentation, Mr. Shapiro highlighted how to learn to:
- Avoid common estate and tax mistakes
- Control your own destiny
- Increase income with estate and charitable gift planning
