CRVI Hosting Frontline Supervisor Intensive Training
The Mid-Hudson Frontline Supervisor Collaborative is entering its second year of learning and development. Six agencies from Orange and Dutchess Counties entered this endeavor together to share best practices and help each other grow.
The people we support rely on competent Direct Support Professionals to support them with multiple aspects of their lives. In turn, Direct Support Professionals rely on a competent Frontline Supervisor to support them with multiple aspects of their work.
Frontline Supervisors who enroll in the four month long National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) Frontline Supervisor Intensive Training will build on existing skills while developing new skills. Topics covered in the training include, recruitment and hiring, working with a multi-generational workforce, building stronger teams, having difficult conversations, understanding the NADSP Code of Ethics, dissecting the DSP Core Competencies and an introduction to the Front Line Supervisor Competency Areas.
With a skilled, knowledgeable, value-based workforce, we can help people achieve their valued outcomes and live fulfilling lives of their choosing.
The National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) is a national non-profit whose mission is to elevate the status of direct support professionals by improving practice standards; promoting system reform; and advancing their knowledge, skills and values.
