Remembering on Memorial Day

Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, remembering and honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War.  In 1873, New York was the first state to designate Memorial Day as a legal holiday. Memorial Day became an official federal holiday in 1971.

We hope you have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.
